Founder, Director, Curator
A composer, vocalist, poet, and visual artist, Elisabeth Blair is currently based in Michigan. After obtaining a BA in photography in 2004, she spent many years on the folk singer/songwriter circuit in Chicago, then moved into both free improvisation and more formal composition. Currently she is working on her master's degree in music composition at Western Michigan University, studying with Lisa R. Coons and Christopher Biggs. She has been an Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts and an artist-in-residence at Wildacres and ACRE. A chapbook of her poems was published in November 2016 by Dancing Girl Press, and in 2017 she will be returning to the Atlantic Center for the Arts to work with poet Heather McHugh. An active feminist, she is on the board of the International Alliance for Women in Music. If you do interesting stuff, she probably wants to collaborate with you.
Co-Curator of Online Showcase
A native Illinoisan, Krystee Wylder spent many years as a singer-songwriter in Chicago, performing at cafes, cabarets, bars, house concerts and variety shows. An enthusiastic proponent of improvisation, she has incorporated it often in her performances, both solo and with groups. She is currently the singer in indie funk/groovy fusion band The Kindoves, whose debut studio album will be released this summer. Her own first solo studio album will also be released this year. In addition to music, Krystee enjoys writing, drawing, and sewing, and runs an Etsy shop featuring vintage clothing. She currently lives with chickens, goats, dogs, cats and some humans on a farm outside Rockford, IL.
